About me
Angel Terron is an award-winning writer, producer, and mental health advocate from Newark, New Jersey, whose voice resonates with strength, vulnerability, and vision. Of biracial heritage and a survivor of abuse, Angel transforms personal pain into powerful storytelling that uplifts and inspires.
She founded Angel Casting and Angel Terron Films in 2016 to champion stories that confront stigma, celebrate resilience, and speak boldly on emotional wellness. Her debut book, Reply or Delete, made waves—earning a feature at the 2013 Pan African Film Festival, a NAFTA award, and inspiring the emotional stage production Angry Insecure Men, which toured ten cities and sparked nationwide dialogue on masculinity and healing.
Angel’s television presence includes appearances on Basketball Wives (VH1), showcasing her dynamic influence across platforms. She's also helmed the award show EMOT, celebrating stories rooted in emotion and authenticity.
With collaborations alongside Tyler Perry, Idris Elba, Chris Brown, and Will Packer, Angel continues expanding her film catalog with titles such as Reply or Delete, Tillow, Polar, Aim, Sacrifice, and Situationship. Her work blends sharp storytelling with unflinching heart, contributing to a growing legacy of cinematic excellence that doesn’t just entertain—it heals and empowers.

MISSION STATEMENT
Mission Statement – Angel Terron
My mission is to create transformative storytelling that champions resilience, emotional truth, and mental wellness. Through Angel Terron Films and Angel Casting, I uplift voices that have been silenced, challenge narratives that ignore lived pain, and provide a platform for healing through art.
Grounded in my personal journey—from overcoming abuse to advocating for mental health—I aim to produce content that is both unapologetically raw and universally relatable. Whether it’s film, television, literature, or live productions, every project I lead reflects a commitment to emotional depth, cultural awareness, and purposeful impact.
I believe storytelling isn’t just entertainment—it’s advocacy, empowerment, and revolution. My mission is to leave a legacy where every viewer feels seen, every story serves a purpose, and every voice has power.
