Synopsis
In POLAR, a visually haunting and emotionally piercing psychological drama, Lynn Vance is the heartbeat of a home frozen by grief. Once the emotional anchor of her family, she is left untethered after an unexpected tragedy rips through her world. Withdrawn into herself, Lynn begins to suffer from a rare and progressive mental illness—one that blurs the borders between what’s real and what’s imagined. Her days are fractured by spectral visions, none more persistent than a mysterious woman whose presence feels both intimate and ominous. Is she a spiritual reckoning, a fragment of unresolved memory, or a mirror reflecting Lynn’s crumbling psyche?

As her husband Jalen and daughter Jade fight to protect the woman they love from slipping away, their bond is tested by unspoken sorrow and quiet perseverance. Through whispered prayers, aching silences, and flickers of warmth in the cold, the Vance family embarks on a journey of resilience—learning that love doesn’t always look like rescue. Sometimes, it’s simply staying when the storm comes.

POLAR is a raw meditation on identity, emotional unraveling, and the fragile grace that holds a family together in the darkest times. Grounded in cultural authenticity and elevated by poetic intimacy, it speaks to the power of human connection—even when the mind itself becomes a battlefield.
